Local Space Mapping - Find your power places!



You can change your life by using your Local Space map !  And I'm not even kidding.  You really can.  It's all about knowing what directions hold luck and opportunity, and which ones represent challenge.

A Local Space chart shows the geographical directions that your natal planets point to, originating from the location where you live.   Just as the natal planets in your chart have meaning, the direction they face has meaning too !

Different planets have different energies, and once we become aware of our personal 'power lines' in our home, neighbourhood, city, country and even the world, then we can consciously use these energies to our advantage.

You take your Local Space Map and align it with the center of your home.  Look and see how the planets are aligned geographically out from that center.

For example, let's say that your natal Moon line runs Northwest, and as you continue that line out of your house and into your neighbourhood, you see that your Moon line runs right through your favourite bakeshop.  You normally cannot walk by this bakeshop without going inside.  The Moon represents sensitivity, nurturing, emotions and comfort.  It's how we emotionally feed ourselves.  This particular bakeshop is on your line of emotional comfort food!   If that bakeshop was on your Saturn line (discipline), you'd find it much easier to just walk on by.

Let's say your Jupiter line runs directly south, right through the kitchen.  Jupiter lines represent success, abundance, optimism, fun and we tend to do very well on a Jupiter line.  If it runs through your kitchen,  its probably the place in the house where people feel the most comfortable and happy.  Kitchen parties are likely to happen in your house if your kitchen is on your Jupiter line!
 




Jupiter is lucky too!  Like to gamble?  Hit a casino that lies on your Jupiter line and rake in the dough.  Or, if you like to buy lottery tickets, then find a lottery booth that lies on your Jupiter line.
Extend your Jupiter line out into the country and see what cities it flows through.  Maybe you're really lucky and it flows through Las Vegas!



Mercury lines are mentally active and chatty,  Want to write a book?  Put your home office on your Mercury line in your house, or find a publisher who's office lies on your Mercury or Jupiter line.

Venus lines represent love, harmony, relationships and money.  For example, what if your Venus line runs through Milan, Italy.  Lucky you!   You may meet your life mate in Italy, or have a lovely holiday romance.  Plan a romantic vacation with your hubby there and you won't be disappointed.

There are endless ways to use this chart. Just apply the planetary meanings to the planetary directions and you'll know what places to go to, and where to avoid.

It's definitely something you want to use when its time to move.

Saturn lines are where we find hard work and restriction and pessimism.  I like to avoid the Saturn line, but in some cases it can be constructive if you want to be focused and be disciplined.  Saturn is a great line for discipline.

For me personally, I have worked in two different places in the last 20 years, and they both happen to be right smack dab on my Venus (money) MC (career) line.  They like me there, and I've always enjoyed working in both places.

I went to a Chiropractic college back east in Toronto back in the 1980s, and it turns out it was right on my Saturn line.  It was quite brutal.  I was overwhelmed and homesick and I dropped out in my 2nd year.  Turns out that dropping out was the best thing I ever did.  I first started leaning about astrology when I was there so there was a positive Saturn (career) connection for me there.  I also first learned about massage therapy there as well, and I did end up becoming an RMT after that experience.  So, it turned out just like Saturn promises.  He usually makes one work hard and suffer a bit, but there's a payoff in the end.  The reward was just different than the one I expected.

Want to know where your Local Space lines run?  The Local Space chart does not look exactly like your natal chart.  Your have to get one drawn up specially to get your proper Local Space map.

You can order a map with full interpretations by going up to the Astrology Reports page and clicking on the Local Space banner.

When you get the map, the lines will center on a certain city (where you live now), and they will splay out from there.  If you want to get down to a neighbourhood level, just figure out where North is in your house and align it the same way.  If your Jupiter line is running due south out of your city, then you know your Jupiter line runs through the south of your house and straight out into the neighbourhood and then into the city, etc.
